My mother was admitted to ONP Shivajinagar and this note is convey appreciation of few things that I noted. Firstly, the name. For a hospital chain specializing in Gynecology and Pediatrics, it’s a really good name. The pathology & sonography reports done from other sources were respected. I have seen many hospitals who would force patients to do same tests in house – probably to increase revenues Room Billing - Room billing was done in very understanding manner and not necessarily on 24 hrs basis I have seen instances when even a few hours beyond 24 hrs are considered as additional day. After all, it’s a hospital not a hotel to follow Check In and Check Out rules. Canteen - I found the quality satisfactory and rates reasonable. Also, the orders given on phone were delivered promptly – perhaps on priority as compared to Walk-In customers. This is appreciable as phone orders are many times for patients (or relatives who cannot walk down )and hence, critical. RED strip on first step of every flight of stair as we come down. A good safety measure as the shiny floor can sometimes create an optical illusion and one can miss a step. Generally good staff Found all key attendants and doctors to be extremely cooperative and jovial with the patient. This certainly helped making the stay comfortable. Only one jarring note is about availability of lifts. With a floors and as many patients / relatives, getting a lift was a painful exercise. All in all, found ONP to be, not one of the hospitals that can be in news for not so good reasons. Wishing you and ONP all the best for future service.
